What makes a good photo?

1. Take a photo or choose an existing photo taken in daylight or a brightly lit room
2. Use a smartphone or high-quality camera
3. Ensure your pet’s face and neck is visible in the image with minimal shadows
4. Please avoid using any filters to ensure we can color your portrait correctly
5. Make sure your pet is looking directly at the camera at eye level and facing forward. Other positions are allowed, however, your pet will be shown in that position in the final portrait.

Please note: Unless you have ordered a sketch portrait, we cannot accept black & white or scanned photos.

Welham & Co custom portraits are printed on museum-quality giclée Epson matte paper that will give your art a polished and professional look.

Frame details:

• Hardwood frame. Please note: frame moulding size varies from 1"-1.5" depending on portrait size.
• Lightweight & delivered with hanging hardware

*Note: We provide unlimited revisions based on your chosen portrait style (eg. Watercolor). An additional fee will apply if you request your portrait to be illustrated in more than one style (eg. purchased a portrait in our Watercolor style but would like to see an option in Oil).
